Some of the smaller trees such as the Juneberry, Ornamental Cherry or the Crab apple tree might be an option for you. If you’re looking for some smaller plants, then these might be for you. Heat loving plants might be a good choice such as Lantana, Angelonia or Pentas, as they would really come out and bloom beautifully in the warm weather. Some plants are just as colourful, like the sneezeweed, which comes out as a bright orange/yellow shade and looks its best in August-October, and the Large Coneflower blooms between June-July. This is a taller plant and can grow up to 5-6 feet but is a beautiful shade of yellow and will attract a lot of wildlife. If you’d like to add some purple to your garden this year, the German Garlic flower might be for you. They can form up to 30 flowers per plant and appeal to nature.
