Furniture Area Assistant - Part Time
Excellent opportunities have arisen for a enthusiastic, friendly and energetic Furniture Area Assistant to work Sundays in our busy Furniture Department.
Duties will include:
Merchandising & displays
Customer carry outs (assist in taking products to customer cars if required)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, friendly and energetic Plant Area Assistant to work as part of an existing team in our busy and vibrant Plant Department.
The ideal candidate will possess previous retail experience in a Garden Centre environment and possess good knowledge of horticulture.
In addition, the ideal candidate will display high attention to detail and have a real passion for providing outstanding customer service.
Duties will include:
• Advising customers with their gardening needs.
• Merchandising & displays
• Stock replenishment
• Customer carry outs (assist in taking products to customer cars if required)
• Watering & maintenance of plants
• General housekeeping
Temporary Sales Assistant to work in the Plant Department to assist with Christmas Trees - 18/11/19 to 24/12/19
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, friendly and energetic Sales Assistant to work over the Christmas period in our Plant Department from 18/11/19 to 24/12/19.
The ideal candidate will possess previous retail experience, in addition to displaying attention to detail and possess a real passion for providing outstanding customer service.
Duties will include:
• Advising customers with their Christmas tree purchases.
• Netting the Christmas trees.
• Customer carry outs (assist in taking trees to customer cars if required)
Days of work:
Either 4 weekdays and alternate weekends
Or, 3 – 4 days per week
Hours of work:
Weekdays and Saturdays: 8:45 – 17:45
Sundays: 10:00 – 17:00

Christmas Elves - Weekdays
Santa is looking for fun-loving Elves to help in his popular Grotto to entertain the children and make their Christmas Grotto experience magical and memorable. Santa is looking for Elves who can help him on weekdays up to early evening.
The ideal candidates must be friendly, outgoing, chatty and have the ability to interact well with the children and their parents.
Previous experience of children’s entertainment or some theatre/drama experience is preferred but not essential. More importantly is plenty of Christmas spirit, fun and laughter.
The Grotto is open on Saturday 16/11/19, Sunday 17/11/19, Saturday 23/11/19, Sunday 24/11/19 and then from Friday the 29th November it is open every day until 24/12/19.
From Monday 9/12/19 the Grotto opens until 8pm
The hours of work are flexible and involve working weekdays
Cotton Traders - Retail Sales Assistant - Part Time
Location: Polhill Garden Centre
Hours: 12 hours per week
Salary: Up to £8.21 depending upon age

One of our retail partners, Cotton Traders Ltd is now moving into its 32nd year as a successful business. During this time, they have worked hard to create and uphold a reputation for quality, knowledge and an outstandingly friendly service within the retail market.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a proactive and charismatic Retail Sales Assistant to join the team based at Polhill Garden Centre, TN14 7AD on a permanent basis working 12 hours per week with a rate of pay of up to £8.21 per hour depending upon age.
Working within a small and friendly retail team where everyone looks out for each other, teamwork and the ability to build relationships are key to this Sales Assistant role. We are looking for a Retail Sales Assistant who will proactively approach every customer and deliver a true retail customer experience.
This is a wonderful working environment where the team members support each other to create a highly successful store. Our Retail Sales Assistants are expected to:
· Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge to our customers
· Efficiently replenish stock
· Be able to effectively use the till, including cash handling
· Support the Team Leader and Store Manager with promotions and offers
· Assist in areas of security, delivery and housekeeping
