Deschampsia flexuosa 'AmiLime' is a compact, clump-forming ornamental grass. It has bright lime green foliage that remains attractive throughout the growing season and produces small, airy panicles of flowers in summer. Deschampsia flexuosa 'AmiLime' is an easy-to-grow plant that is deer-resistant and drought-tolerant. It is a good choice for borders, rock gardens, and containers.

Amigold is a dense tussock forming grass with bright golden green foliage that produces arching bronze flower stems in early summer. Best grown in sun or partial shade in a moist yet well drained position

• As a guide this plant can grow to about 50cm tall
• Here at Polhill we recommend that you use a good quality compost mixed with your garden soil when planting in the ground. If going into containers then a good multipurpose compost or John Innes compost is recommended

Festuca Glauca Compacta Blue is a bright steel blue grass that can be used in bedding containers and baskets. If planted in the open border it is best in sun or partial shade in a moist yet well drained soil.

This is a very tall, and striking clump-forming grass with dark-green and yellow stripes marking the leaves. The flowers are bronze-pink plumes, turning silvery white in autumn. Best grown in a sunny position in a moist yet well drained soil.

• As a guide this plant can grow to 150cm x 100cm
• When planting this perennial in the open ground it is best planted with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality Tree and Shrub Compost. If suitable for containers then we recommend John Innes No3 Compost or a good quality Multipurpose compost. These plants should be fed in Spring and late Summer with a good quality granular fertiliser.

Phalaris Picata is a bamboo like ornamental grass. Upright broad stems of dark green leaves with a striped cream centre which gets a hint of pink in the summer months when the flowers appear as a pinkish-white head.
