Features:
- "Fair to Nature" is the gold standard hallmark for nature friendly farming. It is an independently audited initiative whereby farmers commit to developing at least 10% of their farmland to help regenerate are declining natural wildlife habitats.
- Peanuts are a great source of fat, fibre and protein, and are an excellent source of nourishment for all wild birds, especially during the colder winter months.
- Peanuts should be fed from a secure wire mesh nut feederto avoid the risk of young birds choking on big pieces
- Peanuts will attract many garden birds but are also popular with Blue Tits, Woodpeckers, Blue Tits, Long Tailed Tits and Nuthatch's
- Hygiene
- Always ensure garden birds have plenty of fresh clean water for drinking and bathing. Clean feeding and drinking areas regularly with a mild disinfectant. Keep food fresh and dry, removing any wet food to prevent the spread of bacteria and diseases
- Feeding advice
- Site your feeder 2 metres from cover to make the feeder visible, whilst providing a safe place to retreat from predators. Put out food at the start of the day to ensure that birds can replace the energy they have lost overnight.
