Why Write for Us?

We welcome original, practical articles that help readers make the most of their gardens — whether that’s growing vegetables, attracting bees, managing greenhouses or dealing with common garden pests. If you have a story to share or advice to offer, we’d love to hear from you.

While we do not offer payment for contributions, accepted posts will:

• Be published on a trusted and well-read platform
• Include a short author bio with a link to your website or social channel (if applicable)
• Be shared across our social media pages, helping your ideas reach a wider audience

What We’re Looking For

We’re after articles that are:

• Clear, accurate and written in UK English
• Between 500 and 900 words
• Original and not published elsewhere
• Focused on practical gardening tips, seasonal advice, sustainability, wildlife-friendly gardening, or personal growing experiences

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

• We reserve the right to edit submissions for clarity, grammar and formatting
• We do not accept promotional or advertorial content
• You may include one relevant link to your own blog or website, as long as it fits naturally within the article

How to Submit

If you’d like to contribute, please email us at marketadmin@polhillcentre.co.uk with:

• A short introduction about yourself
• A few lines outlining your article idea
• Or a finished draft (Word or Google Doc format preferred)

We review all submissions and aim to respond within two weeks. If accepted, we’ll let you know when your article will be published.

By submitting content to Polhill Garden Centre, you agree to the following:
