It grows to be 3-6 feet tall and wide, with arching branches that are covered in small, ovate leaves. The leaves are dark green in color, and have a bronze tint when they first emerge in spring. The flowers of Fuchsia riccartoni are small to medium in size, and have a distinctive shape. The sepals are crimson red, and are held horizontally, almost like a petticoat. The petals are deep purple or blue-violet, and are arranged in a bell shape.

  • Flowering from early summer until the first frosts it is very attractive to bees and other nectar feeding insects.

Height: 150x 150cm
Planting: When planting this plant in the open ground it is best planted with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality Tree and Shrub Compost. If planting in a container then we recommend John Innes No3 Compost or a good quality Multipurpose compost. These plants should be fed in Spring and late Summer with a good quality granular fertiliser.

You can cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery (excluding made-to-order and perishable goods such as cut flowers). Items must be unused, complete, and in resalable condition with all original packaging and proof of purchase.

Returns can be made in-store, by post, or via courier (costs may apply). For faulty goods within 12 months, we offer repair, exchange, or refund with proof of purchase, excluding faults from misuse or normal wear & tear.
