The Hymenocallis is also called 'the spider lily' and is a remarkable plant whose stamens are connected by a membrane at the base. The hymenocallis originates from the united arab emirates, where she occurs as a dessert plant. Even the highest building in the world (the burj khalifa in dubai) is based on the shape of the hymenocallis. The stem bears up to 5 flowers which have a nice fragrant.
