The Gloriosa is also called 'the climbing lily'. She belongs to the lily-family and originates from africa. This species is very attractive and graceful and is the only lily that climbs. She can stand well in the garden in summer, but she is not winter hardy. The gloriosa forms very long shoots, which must be tied to an aid for climbing.
