Sam Coleman
I joined Polhill Garden Centre in 2012 as Chef de Partie having worked hard for many
years in local pub kitchens perfecting my own unique gastro / modern cuisine cooking styles. Within a short time of joining Polhill, I was encouraged to create and introduce a new Hot & Healthy menu for the business which proved extremely popular during the busy lunchtime rush.

Towards the end of 2013, Polhill invested in a brand new Bistro & Bakery to complement the increasingly popular Food Hall. The Managing Director was so impressed with my
work in the main restaurant that she invited me to design menus for the new Bistro, help get the kitchen up and running and ultimately take full responsibility for the Bistro kitchen as Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager. Polhill also sponsored me to attend Weber's Grill Academy Cookery School which has inspired my creativity even further.

My passion for food and cooking began at the age of 13 and it continues to grow as I create new and exciting dishes for Polhill and I am embarking on a new hobby of cheese making!
